Rooted will be a 12-week group semester built around 10 weeks of content in the Rooted books. This will align with teaching and focus on the community formed in Lighthouse Groups while encouraging healthy daily habits like time in your Bible, prayer, and serving. The hope is to involve every ministry area in Rooted so families engaging in any aspect will be impacted. Conversation and biblical community will grow inside and outside the walls of Lighthouse Community. 

No. We plan to use Rooted as a church-wide initiative for the fall semester, meaning the Rooted books will serve as the study guide for the Fall 2026 semester before transitioning back to a more traditional semester for the Winter 2027. This will also provide time for our Lighthouse Groups team to pray, develop, and refine future study guides for groups. 

Many Rooted groups will become new Lighthouse Groups, potential group leaders will be identified and developed, and additional groups will form as people take nexts steps in their faith. moving forward, Rooted can continue to serve as an on-ramp for people who are new to Lighthouse Community and as a potential training environment for future co-leaders. 

Sign ups begin Sunday, August 30! Groups will begin, September 14 and run for 12 weeks.
